Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5081
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) raising his hands up to his shoulders at the beginning of prayer, and also while going into bowing (ruku') and after rising from it, but he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not raise his hands between the two prostrations.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو نماز کے آغاز میں اپنے ہاتھ کندھوں کے برابر کر کے رفع یدین کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے، نیز رکوع میں جاتے وقت اور رکوع سے سر اٹھانے کے بعد بھی رفع یدین کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے، لیکن دو سجدوں کے درمیان نبی ﷺ نے رفع یدین نہیں کیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko namaz ke aghaz mein apne hath kandhon ke barabar kar ke rafay yadain karte huye dekha hai, neez ruku mein jate waqt aur ruku se sar uthane ke baad bhi rafay yadain karte huye dekha hai, lekin do sajdon ke darmiyaan Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne rafay yadain nahin kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا دَخَلَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ، وَإِذَا رَكَعَ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ، وَلَا يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ فِي السُّجُودِ".
