Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5121
Yunus bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) once asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about a man who divorced his wife during her menstrual period. He replied, "Do you know Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)?" I said, "Yes!" He said, "He also divorced his wife during her menstrual period. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and told him about it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Tell him to take her back, then if he wants to divorce her, he should do it during a time of purity (when she is not menstruating).' "

یونس بن جبیر رحمہ اللہ نے ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے اس شخص کے متعلق پوچھا، جو ایام کی حالت میں اپنی بیوی کو طلاق دے دے، تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ کیا تم عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو جانتے ہو، میں نے کہا، جی ہاں! انہوں نے فرمایا کہ اس نے بھی اپنی بیوی کو ایام کی حالت میں طلاق دے دی تھی، سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے جا کر نبی ﷺ کو یہ بات بتائی تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اسے کہو کہ وہ اس سے رجوع کر لے، پھر اگر وہ اسے طلاق دینا ہی چاہے تو طہر کے دوران دے۔“
Younas bin Jabir rehmatullah alaih ne aik martaba Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se is shakhs ke mutalliq poocha, jo ayaam ki halat mein apni biwi ko talaq de de, to unhon ne farmaya ke kya tum Abdullah bin Umar razi Allah anhuma ko jante ho, maine kaha, ji haan! Unhon ne farmaya ke usne bhi apni biwi ko ayaam ki halat mein talaq de di thi, Sayyidna Umar razi Allah anhu ne ja kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye baat batai to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Ise kaho ke wo us se ruju kar le, phir agar wo use talaq dena hi chahe to tahur ke doran de."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُطَلِّقُ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ، فَقَالَ: أَتَعْرِفُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَإِنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ، فَأَتَى عُمَرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَسَأَلَهُ، فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ" يُرَاجِعَهَا، ثُمَّ يُطَلِّقَهَا، فَتَسْتَقْبِلَ عِدَّتَهَا".
