Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5126
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “Witr is the last rak'ah of the night prayers.”
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”وتر رات کی نمازوں میں سب سے آخری رکعت ہوتی ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Witr raat ki namaazon mein sab se aakhiri rakat hoti hai.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، وَحَجَّاجٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مِجْلَزٍ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" الْوَتْرُ رَكْعَةٌ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ".
