Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5151
Nafi' said that once in the valley of Dhi Jinnan, Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) announced the prayer, then he proclaimed that people should pray in their tents. He then narrated a hadith on the authority of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), during a journey, on cold nights or on rainy nights, would announce the prayer and then proclaim that people should pray in their tents.

نافع کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ وادی ضجنان میں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے نماز کا اعلان کروایا، پھر یہ منادی کر دی کہ اپنے اپنے خیموں میں نماز پڑھ لو اور نبی ﷺ کے حوالے سے یہ حدیث بیان فرمائی کہ نبی ﷺ بھی دوران سفر سردی کی راتوں میں یا بارش والی راتوں میں نماز کا اعلان کر کے یہ منادی کر دیتے تھے کہ اپنے اپنے خیموں میں نماز پڑھ لو۔
Nafey kahtay hain kay aik martaba wadi e zijanan main sayyadina ibne umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a nay namaz ka elan karwaya, phir yeh munaddi kar di kay apnay apnay khaimon main namaz parh lo aur nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kay hawale se yeh hadees bayan farmai kay nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bhi dauran e safar sardi ki raton main ya barish wali raton main namaz ka elan kar kay yeh munaddi kar datay thay kay apnay apnay khaimon main namaz parh lo.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّهُ أَذَّنَ بِضَجَنَانَ لَيْلَةً الْعِشَاءَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ فِي إِثْرِ ذَلِكَ: أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ، وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" يَأْمُرُ مُؤَذِّنًا، يَقُولُ: أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ"، فِي اللَّيْلَةِ الْبَارِدَةِ أَوْ الْمَطِيرَةِ فِي السَّفَرِ.
