Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5183
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, an Ansari man was advising his brother regarding modesty (that don't be so shy), the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Let him be, for modesty is a part of faith.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ایک انصاری آدمی اپنے بھائی کو حیاء کے متعلق نصیحت کر رہا تھا (کہ اتنی بھی حیاء نہ کیا کرو) نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا رہنے دو حیاء تو ایمان کا حصہ ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba ek Ansaari aadmi apne bhai ko haya ke mutalliq nasihat kar raha tha (keh itni bhi haya na kiya karo) Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya rehne do haya to imaan ka hissa hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ كَانَ يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: دَعْهُ، فَإِنَّ" الْحَيَاءَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ".
