Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5246
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade eating two dates together without the permission of one's companions.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اپنے ساتھیوں کی اجازت کے بغیر ایک ساتھ دو کھجوریں کھانے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne saathiyon ki ijazat ke baghair ek saath do khajoorein khane se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، قَالَ:" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَقْرُنَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْنَ التَّمْرَتَيْنِ حَتَّى يَسْتَأْذِنَ أَصْحَابَهُ".
