Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5268
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he divorced his wife during her menstrual period. 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he said: "Tell him to take his wife back, and when she becomes pure, he may divorce her during a period of purity (i.e., when she is not menstruating)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے اپنی بیوی کو ”ایام“ کی حالت میں طلاق دے دی، سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی ﷺ سے اس کا تذکرہ کیا تو انہوں نے فرمایا: اسے کہو کہ اپنی بیوی سے رجوع کر لے، جب وہ پاک ہو جائے تو ان ایام طہارت میں اسے طلاق دے دے۔
Saina Ibne Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ke unhon ne apni biwi ko "Ayaam" ki halat mein talaq de di, Saina Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se is ka tazkara kiya to unhon ne farmaya: Ise kaho ke apni biwi se ruju kar le, jab wo pak ho jaye to in ayaam tahaarat mein ise talaq de de.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، وَبَهْزٌ ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، قَالَ بَهْزٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ، فَسَأَلَ عُمَرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ:" مُرْهُ فَلْيُرَاجِعْهَا، فَإِذَا طَهُرَتْ فَلْيُطَلِّقْهَا"، قَالَ بَهْزٌ: أَتُحْتَسَبُ؟.
