Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5281
Abdullah bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) said that once, I and another man were with Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). He called the other man and said: "You two should be gentle. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade that two people engage in a private conversation, leaving out a third person."

عبداللہ بن دینار رحمہ اللہ کہتے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں اور دوسرا شخص سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ تھے، انہوں نے دوسرے آدمی کو بلایا اور فرمایا: ”تم دونوں نرمی کیا کرو، نبی ﷺ نے اس بات سے منع فرمایا ہے کہ ایک آدمی کو چھوڑ کر دو آدمی سرگوشیاں کر نے لگیں۔
Abdulalh bin Denar rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki ek martaba main aur dusra shakhs sayyadina Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma ke sath thay, unhon ne dusre aadmi ko bulaya aur farmaya: “Tum donon narmi kya karo, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is baat se mana farmaya hai ki ek aadmi ko chhor kar do aadmi sargosiyaan karne lagein.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَا وَرَجُلٌ آخَرُ، فَدَعَا رَجُلًا آخَرَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: اسْتَرْخِيَا، فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى أَنْ يَنْتَجِيَ اثْنَانِ دُونَ وَاحِدٍ".
