Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5292
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the selling of dates until they are ripe, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) imposed this prohibition on both the seller and the buyer.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے کھجور کی بیع سے منع فرمایا ہے جب تک وہ پک نہ جائے اور نبی ﷺ نے یہ ممانعت بائع اور مشتری دونوں کو فرمائی ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne khajoor ki bay'a se mana farmaya hai jab tak woh pak na jaye aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye mamanat ba'e aur mushtari dono ko farmai hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرَةِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهَا، نَهَى الْبَائِعَ وَالْمُشْتَرِيَ".
