Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5295
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would return from Hajj, Jihad, or Umrah, upon reaching a high ground, he would say Allahu Akbar three times and then recite this supplication: "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah, He is One, He has no partners, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is Powerful over all things. We return repenting, worshipping, prostrating, and praising our Lord. Allah has fulfilled His promise, aided His servant, and granted victory to His army single-handedly."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب حج، جہاد یا عمرہ سے واپس آتے تو زمین کے جس بلند حصے پر چڑھتے، تین مرتبہ اللہ اکبر کہہ کر یہ دعا پڑھتے: ”اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کی حکومت ہے اور اسی کی تعریف ہے، اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے، توبہ کرتے ہوئے لوٹ رہے ہیں، سجدہ کرتے ہوئے عبادت کرتے ہوئے اور اپنے رب کی حمد کرتے ہوئے واپس آ رہے ہیں، اللہ نے اپنا وعدہ سچ کر دکھایا، اپنے بندے کی مدد کی اور تمام لشکروں کو اکیلے ہی شکت دے دی۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab Hajj, Jihad ya Umrah se wapas aate to zameen ke jis buland hisse par chadhte, teen martaba Allahu Akbar keh kar yeh dua parhte: "Allah sab se bada hai, Allah sab se bada hai, Allah ke alawa koi mabood nahin, woh akela hai, is ka koi shareek nahin, isi ki hukumat hai aur isi ki tareef hai, aur woh har cheez par qadir hai, tauba karte hue laut rahe hain, sijda karte hue ibadat karte hue aur apne Rab ki hamd karte hue wapas aa rahe hain, Allah ne apna waada sach kar dikhaya, apne bande ki madad ki aur tamam lashkaron ko akele hi shikayat de di."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا قَفَلَ مِنْ حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ أَوْ غَزْوٍ، كَبَّرَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ، سَاجِدُونَ عَابِدُونَ، لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ، صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ".
