Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5297
It is narrated on the authority of our master Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade the sale of Muzabanah. Muzabanah refers to the sale by estimate of unharvested dates for harvested dates, and unharvested grapes for harvested grapes.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بیع مزابنہ کی ممانعت فرمائی ہے، بیع مزابنہ کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ کٹی ہوئی کھجور کی درختوں پر لگی ہوئی کھجور کے بدلے اور انگور کی کشمش کے بدلے، اندازے سے بیع کرنا۔
Sayyedna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Bay Mazabanah ki mamanat farmai hai, Bay Mazabanah ka matlab ye hai ki kati hui khajoor ki darakhton par lagi hui khajoor ke badle aur angoor ki kishmish ke badle, andazay se bay karna.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ"، وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ: اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا، وَالْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلًا.
