Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5298

Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) set out for Umrah during the trials of Abdullah ibn Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: “If we are prevented from reaching the House (Ka'bah), then we will do as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did.”

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سیدنا عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ کے ایام امتحان میں عمرے کے لئے روانہ ہوئے اور فرمایا کہ اگر ہمیں بیت اللہ سے روک دیا گیا تو ہم اسی طرح کریں گے جیسے نبی ﷺ نے کیا تھا۔

Nafay rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke ayaam imtehaan mein Umrah ke liye rawana huye aur farmaya ke agar hamein Baitullah se rok diya gaya to hum isi tarah karenge jaise Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kiya tha.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، خَرَجَ فِي فِتْنَةِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، وَقَالَ:" إِنْ نُصَدَّ عَنِ الْبَيْتِ، صَنَعْنَا كَمَا صَنَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ".
