Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5302
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that during journeys, on cold nights or rainy nights, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would announce the prayer and then have it announced: "Pray in your dwellings."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ دوران سفر سردی کی راتوں میں یا بارش والی راتوں میں نماز کا اعلان کر کے یہ منادی کر دیتے تھے کہ اپنے اپنے خیموں میں نماز پڑھ لو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) dauran safar sardi ki raton mein ya barish wali raton mein namaz ka elan kar ke ye munaddi kar dete the ki apne apne khaimon mein namaz parh lo.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةُ رِيحٍ وَبَرْدٍ فِي سَفَرٍ" أَمَرَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ فَأَذَّنَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: الصَّلَاةُ فِي الرِّحَالِ".
