Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5303
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made it obligatory on all the Muslims, male or female, free or slave, to pay Zakat-ul-Fitr, one Sa' of dates or one Sa' of barley.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے مذکر و مؤنث اور آزاد و غلام سب مسلمانوں پر صدقہ فطر ایک صاع کھجور یا ایک صاع جَو مقرر فرمایا ہے۔
Syedna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne muzakkar o mo'annath aur azad o ghulam sab musalmanon par sadqa fitr ek saa' khajoor ya ek saa' jau muqarrar farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" فَرَضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ، عَنْ كُلِّ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَى، وَحُرٍّ وَعَبْدٍ، مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ".
