Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5340
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "A man was dragging his garment out of pride, when suddenly he was swallowed up by the earth, and he will continue to sink down into it until the Day of Resurrection."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”ایک آدمی تکبر کی وجہ سے اپنے کپڑے کو زمین پر گھسیٹتا چلا جا رہا تھا کہ اچانک زمین میں دھنس گیا اب وہ قیامت تک زمین میں دھنستا رہے گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Ek aadmi takabbur ki wajah se apne kapde ko zameen par ghaseetta chala ja raha tha ki achanak zameen mein dhas gaya ab wo qayamat tak zameen mein dhasta rahega“.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمٌ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَجُرُّ إِزَارَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ خُسِفَ بِهِ، فَهُوَ يَتَجَلْجَلُ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ".
