Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5348
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) organized a horse race and placed a bet, designating a specific finishing line.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے گھڑ دوڑ کا مقابلہ منعقد کروایا اور ایک جگہ مقرر کر کے شرط لگائی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ghor daud ka muqabala munakid karvaya aur ek jagah muqarrar kar ke shart lagai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ ، حدثنا عبد الله ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" سَبَّقَ بِالْخَيْلِ وَرَاهَنَ".
