Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5419
Mus'ab bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once, Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) went to visit Abdullah ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was ill. Ibn Amir said to him, "Why don't you pray for me?". Ibn Umar replied, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that Allah Almighty does not accept the charity from stolen wealth, nor does He accept prayer without purification, and you were once the governor of Basra".

مصعب بن سعد رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما ابن عامر کے پاس ان کی بیمار پرسی کے لئے آئے، ابن عامر نے ان سے کہا کہ آپ میرے لئے دعاء کیوں نہیں فرماتے؟ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مال غنیمت میں سے چوری کی ہوئی چیز کا صدقہ قبول نہیں کرتا اور نہ ہی طہارت کے بغیر نماز قبول کرتا ہے اور تم بصرہ کے گورنر رہ چکے ہو۔
Musab bin Saad rahmatullah alaih kehte hain ke ek martaba Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a Ibn Aamir ke paas un ki bimaar pursi ke liye aaye, Ibn Aamir ne un se kaha ke aap mere liye dua kyon nahin farmate? Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya ke maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ye farmate huye suna hai ke Allah Ta'ala mal e ghanimat mein se chori ki hui cheez ka sadqa qubool nahin karta aur na hi taharat ke baghair namaz qubool karta hai aur tum Basra ke governor reh chuke ho.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ: دَخَلَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ يَعُودُهُ، فَقَالَ: مَا لَكَ لَا تَدْعُو لِي؟ قَالَ: فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَقْبَلُ صَلَاةً بِغَيْرِ طُهُورٍ، وَلَا صَدَقَةً مِنْ غُلُولٍ"، وَقَدْ كُنْتَ عَلَى الْبَصْرَةِ، يَعْنِي: عَامِلًا.
