Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5418
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), said: "The seller and the buyer have the right of option so long as they have not separated, or one of them has not said to the other: 'Make up your mind."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”بائع (بچنے والا) اور مشتری (خریدنے والا اور بیچنے والا) کو اس وقت تک اختیار رہتا ہے جب تک وہ جدا نہ ہو جائیں یا یہ کہ ان دونوں میں سے ایک دوسرے سے کہہ دے کہ اختیار کر لو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Bayi (bechne wala) aur mushتري (kharidne wala aur bechne wala) ko us waqt tak ikhtiyar rehta hai jab tak woh juda na ho jayen ya ye keh un donon mein se ek dusre se keh de ke ikhtiyar kar lo."
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا، أَوْ يَقُولُ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ: اخْتَرْ".
