Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5428
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), that once I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pointing with his hand towards the East and saying twice: "Fitnah (tribulation) will arise from here, from where the horn of Satan emerges."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ آپ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے مشرق کی طرف اشارہ کیا اور دو مرتبہ فرمایا:”فتنہ یہاں سے ہو گا جہاں سے شیطان کا سینگ نکلتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekha ki aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath se mashriq ki taraf ishara kiya aur do martaba farmaya: "Fitna yahan se hoga jahan se shaitan ka sing nikalta hai."
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُشِيرُ إِلَى الْمَشْرِقِ، وَيَقُولُ:" هَا إِنَّ الْفِتَنَ هَاهُنَا، إِنَّ الْفِتَنَ هَاهُنَا، حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ".
