Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5439
It was narrated from Sayyidina Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever lets his garment drag (out of pride), Allah will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Resurrection.”
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص تکبر کی وجہ سے اپنے کپڑے گھسیٹتا ہوا چلتا ہے (کپڑے زمین پر گھستے جاتے ہیں) اللہ قیامت کے دن اس پر نظر رحم نہ فرمائے گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs takabbur ki wajah se apne kapre ghaseetta hua chalta hai (kapre zameen par ghaste jate hain) Allah qayamat ke din us par nazar-e-reham na farmaye ga“.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".
