Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5440
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about cow dung. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “I do not eat it, nor do I declare it forbidden.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ سے گوہ کے متعلق پوچھا گیا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میں اسے کھاتا ہوں اور نہ ہی حرام قرار دیتا ہوں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se goh ke mutalliq pucha gaya to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "main ise khata hun aur na hi haram qarar deta hun."
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الضَّبِّ، فَقَالَ:" لَسْتُ آكِلَهُ وَلَا مُحَرِّمَهُ.
