Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5446
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There are no days more beloved to Allah in which righteous deeds are done than these ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.” The companions asked, “Not even Jihad in the path of Allah?” He said, “Not even Jihad in the path of Allah, except a man who goes out for Jihad with his life and wealth and returns with nothing.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari)

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”عشرہ ذی الحجہ سے بڑھ کر کوئی دن اللہ کی نگاہوں میں معظم نہیں اور نہ ہی ان کے علاوہ کسی اور دن میں اعمال اتنے زیادہ پسند ہیں اس لئے ان دونوں میں تہلیل و تکبیر اور تحمید کی کثرت کیا کرو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Ashra Zil Hajj se badh kar koi din Allah ki nigahon mein moazzam nahin aur na hi in ke ilawa kisi aur din mein amal itne zyada pasand hain is liye in donon mein tahleel o takbeer aur tahmeed ki kasrat kiya karo."
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" مَا مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ، وَلَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ فِيهِنَّ، مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ الْعَشْرِ، فَأَكْثِرُوا فِيهِنَّ مِنَ التَّهْلِيلِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ وَالتَّحْمِيدِ".
