Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5447
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer voluntary prayers on his riding animal, facing whichever direction it was going.
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اپنی سواری پر نفل نماز پڑھ لیا کرتے تھے خواہ اس کا رخ کسی بھی سمت ہو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apni sawari par nafl namaz padh liya karte thy khawah us ka rukh kisi bhi simt ho.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ حَيْثُ تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ".
