Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5482
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, while delivering a sermon, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When one of you comes for Friday prayer, he should perform Ghusl (ritual bath)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما مروی سے ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ خطبہ دیتے ہوئے نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص جمعہ کے لئے آئے تو اسے چاہئے کہ غسل کر کے آئے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a marvi se hai ki ek martaba khutba dete huye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jab tum mein se koi shakhs juma ke liye aaye to use chahiye ki ghusl kar ke aaye."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: خَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ:" إِذَا رَاحَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ".
