Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5501
Abdullah bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: "Once, I was with Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and another man was with us. A man came, and Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to both of us, 'Move back a little because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'If there are three of you, two should not whisper, leaving the third out.'"

عبداللہ بن دینار رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں اور ایک دوسرا آدمی سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ تھے، ایک آدمی آیا تو سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ہم دونوں سے فرمایا: ”ذرا پیچھے ہو جاؤ کیونکہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے اگر تین آدمی ہوں تو ایک کو چھوڑ کر دو آدمی سرگوشی نہ کر یں۔“
Abdullah bin Dinaar rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki aik martaba mein aur aik doosra aadmi Sayyiduna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma ke saath thay, aik aadmi aaya tou Sayyiduna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma ne hum donon se farmaya: “Zara peeche ho jao kyunki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai agar teen aadmi hon tou aik ko chhor kar do aadmi sargosi na karen.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، كُنْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَا وَرَجُلٌ آخَرُ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : اسْتَأْخِرَا، فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِذَا كَانُوا ثَلَاثَةً فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ وَاحِدٍ".
