Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5516
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in a hurry to travel, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would combine Maghrib and Isha prayers.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو جب سفر کی جلدی ہوتی تو آپ ﷺ مغرب اور عشاء کے درمیان جمع صوری فرما لیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، وَعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَمُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ"، وَكَانَ فِي بَعْضِ حَدِيثِهِمَا: إِلَى رُبُعِ اللَّيْلِ، أَخَّرَهُمَا جَمِيعًا.
