Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5538
Hukm said that in Muzdalifah, Sayyiduna Saeed bin Jubair, may Allah have mercy on him, led us in Maghrib prayer, praying three rak'ahs as if in residence, then after finishing the prayer with salam, prayed two rak'ahs of Isha due to being in the state of travel. And then he said that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, also did the same with us at this place and said that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, also did the same with us at this place.

حکم کہتے ہیں کہ مزدلفہ میں ہمیں سیدنا سعید بن جبیر رحمہ اللہ نے مغرب کی نماز تین رکعتوں میں اقامت کی طرح پڑھائی، پھر سلام پھیر کر عشاء کی دو رکعتیں حالت سفر کی وجہ سے پڑھائی، اور پھر فرمایا کہ سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بھی ہمارے ساتھ اس جگہ اس طرح کیا تھا اور فرمایا تھا کہ نبی ﷺ نے بھی ہمارے ساتھ اس جگہ اسی طرح کیا تھا۔
Hukum kahte hain ki Muzdalifa mein hamen Sayyiduna Saeed bin Jubair rahimahullah ne Maghrib ki namaz teen rakaton mein iqamat ki tarah parhaee, phir salam pher kar Isha ki do rakaaten halat safar ki wajah se parhaee, aur phir farmaya ki Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne bhi hamare sath is jagah is tarah kiya tha aur farmaya tha ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bhi hamare sath is jagah isi tarah kiya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ " أَقَامَ بِجَمْعٍ، قَالَ: وَأَحْسِبُهُ وَأَذَّنَ فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ، فَصَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ"، ثُمَّ قَالَ: صَنَعَ بِنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ مِثْلَ هَذَا، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : صَنَعَ بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ مِثْلَ هَذَا.
