Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5564
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them both) that once he was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) began to repeat this phrase: "O Allah, forgive me and turn to me in forgiveness. Verily, You are the Oft-Returning, the Most Forgiving," until the one who was counting counted it a hundred times on his hand.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ وہ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ نبی ﷺ یہ جملہ «اللّهُمَّ اغفِرليِ وَتُب عَلَيَّ اِنَّكَ اَنتَ التَوَّابُ الغَفُورٌ» دہرانے لگے حتٰی کہ گننے والے نے اسے اپنے ہاتھ پر سو مرتبہ شمار کیا۔
Saina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath baithe hue the ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) yeh jumla "Allahumma igfirli wa tub alaiya innaka antat tawwabul ghafoor" dohraane lage hatta ki ginne wale ne ise apne hath par sau martaba shumar kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ أَوْ ابْنُ الْفَضْلِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ قَاعِدًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ:" اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الْغَفُورُ"، حَتَّى عَدَّ الْعَادُّ بِيَدِهِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ.
