Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5563
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned from the Battle of Uhud, the women of the Ansar began to weep for their husbands. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no one to weep for Hamza.” Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell asleep. When he woke up, the women were still weeping. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “They will continue to weep in the name of Hamza today. Tell them to go back and not weep for any dead person from today onwards.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ جب نبی ﷺ غزوہ احد سے واپس ہوئے تو انصار کی عورتیں اپنے اپنے شوہروں پر رونے لگیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”حمزہ کے لئے کوئی رونے والی نہیں ہے“، پھر نبی ﷺ کی آنکھ لگ گئی، بیدار ہوئے تو وہ خواتین اسی طرح رورہی تھیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ آج حمزہ کے نام لے کر روتی ہی رہیں گی انہیں کہہ دو کہ واپس چلی جائیں اور آج کے بعد کسی مرنے والے پر مت روئیں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ghazwa Uhud se wapas huye to Ansar ki aurten apne apne shoharon par rone lagin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Hamza ke liye koi rone wali nahi hai phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki aankh lag gayi bedar huye to wo khawateen usi tarah ror hi thin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yeh aaj Hamza ke naam lekar roti hi rahengi inhen keh do ki wapas chali jayen aur aaj ke baad kisi marne wale par mat royen
حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا رَجَعَ مِنْ أُحُدٍ، سَمِعَ نِسَاءَ الْأَنْصَارِ يَبْكِينَ عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِنَّ، فَقَالَ:" لَكِنْ حَمْزَةُ لَا بَوَاكِيَ لَهُ" فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ نِسَاءَ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَجِئْنَ يَبْكِينَ عَلَى حَمْزَةَ، قَالَ: فَانْتَبَهَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَسَمِعَهُنَّ وَهُنَّ يَبْكِينَ، فَقَالَ:" وَيْحَهُنَّ! لَمْ يَزَلْنَ يَبْكِينَ بَعْدُ مُنْذُ اللَّيْلَةِ؟! مُرُوهُنَّ فَلْيَرْجِعْنَ، وَلَا يَبْكِينَ عَلَى هَالِكٍ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ".
