Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5719
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that we initially assumed Ihram only for Hajj with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ہم نے ابتداءً صرف حج کا احرام باندھا تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath hum ne ibtidaan sirf Hajj ka ehraam bandha tha.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبَّادٍ , حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" أَهْلَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْحَجِّ مُفْرَدًا".
