Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5776
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever lets his garment drag out of pride, Allah will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Resurrection."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص تکبر کی وجہ سے اپنے کپڑے گھسیٹتا ہوا چلتا ہے (کپڑے زمین پر گھستے جاتے ہیں) اللہ قیامت کے دن اس پر نظر رحم نہ فرمائے گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs takabbur ki wajah se apne kapde ghaseetta hua chalta hai (kapde zameen par ghaste jaate hain) Allah qayamat ke din us par nazar-e-reham na farmaye ga“.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ، لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".
