Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5840
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a spear was pitched for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the two Eids, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would lead the prayer facing it.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے لئے عیدین میں نیزہ گاڑا جاتا تھا اور نبی ﷺ اسے سترہ بنا کر نماز پڑھتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعُمَرِيُّ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" كَانَ تُرْكَزُ لَهُ الْحَرْبَةُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ، فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا".
