Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5843

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to raise his hands to the level of his shoulders while supplicating.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ رفع یدین کرتے ہوئے کندھوں کے برابر ہاتھ اٹھاتے تھے۔

Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) rafay yadain karte hue kandhon ke barabar hath uthate thay.

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعُمَرِيُّ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ".
