Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5850
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the selling or gifting of the right of Wala'.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے حق ولاء کو بیچنے یا ہبہ کر نے کی ممانعت فرمائی ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne haq wala ko bechne ya hiba karne ki mamanat farmai hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَلَاءِ، وَعَنْ هِبَتِهِ"، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: سَمِعْتَ مِنَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، وَسَأَلَهُ عَنْهُ ابْنُهُ حَمْزَةُ.
