Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5876
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to perform the sacrifice on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah in the Eid prayer place and he used to say that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also used to do the same.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے حوالے سے مروی ہے کہ وہ دس ذی الحجہ کو عیدگاہ میں ہی قربانی کیا کرتے تھے اور فرماتے تھے کہ نبی ﷺ بھی اسی طرح کیا کرتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke hawale se marvi hai ki woh Dus Zilhaj ko Eidgah mein hi qurbani kya karte thy aur farmate thy ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bhi isi tarah kya karte thy.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , قَالَ عَبْدٌ الله بْنِ أَحْمَّد: وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" كَانَ يَذْبَحُ أُضْحِيَّتَهُ بِالْمُصَلَّى يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ"، وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ.
