Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5893
Thawus al-Yamani, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "I found many of the Companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: 'Everything is by decree.' And I heard Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, say: 'The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'Everything is by decree, even incompetence and intelligence.'"

طاؤس یمانی رحمہ اللہ کہتے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کے کتنے ہی صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ کہتے ہوئے پایا ہے کہ ہر چیز تقدیر کے ساتھ وابستہ ہے، اور میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو بھی یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا:”ہر چیز تقدیر کے ساتھ وابستہ ہے حتٰی کہ بیوقوفی اور عقلمندی بھی۔“
Taus Yamani rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke kitne hi sahaba raziallahu anhum ko ye kehte huye paya hai ke har cheez taqdeer ke sath wabasta hai, aur maine Sayyiduna Ibn Umar raziallahu anhuma ko bhi ye farmate huye suna hai ke Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Har cheez taqdeer ke sath wabasta hai hatta ke bewakoofi aur aqalmandi bhi.”
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الطَّبَّاعِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ الْيَمَانِيِّ ، قَالَ: أَدْرَكْتُ نَاسًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُونَ: كُلُّ شَيْءٍ بِقَدَرٍ، قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ , يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" كُلُّ شَيْءٍ بِقَدَرٍ، حَتَّى الْعَجْزُ وَالْكَيْسُ".
