Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5905
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): Once I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, while pointing his hand towards the East: "Fitnah (tribulation) is here, from where the horn of Satan emerges." He (the Prophet) said it twice.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ آپ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے مشرق کی طرف اشارہ اور دو مرتبہ فرمایا: ”فتنہ یہاں سے ہو گا جہاں سے شیطان کا سینگ نکلتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh ek martaba maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh farmate huye suna keh aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath se mashriq ki taraf ishara aur do martaba farmaya: "Fitna yahan se hoga jahan se shaitan ka sing nikalta hai."
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ نَحْوَ الْمَشْرِقِ:" هَاهُنَا الْفِتْنَةُ، هَاهُنَا الْفِتْنَةُ، حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ".
