Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6010
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you feel feverish, extinguish it with cold water.
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تمہیں بخار محسوس ہو تو اسے ٹھنڈے پانی سے بجھاؤ۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab tumhein bukhar mehsoos ho to use thhande pani se bujhao.
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا جِسْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلِيطٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِذَا أَحْسَسْتُمْ بِالْحُمَّى، فَأَطْفِئُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ".
