Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 602
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: I was in the service of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, when I saw the two Sheikhs (Abu Bakr and Umar), may Allah be pleased with them, coming towards us. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "O Ali! These two are the leaders of all the old and young people of Paradise, except the Prophets and Messengers."

سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں موجود تھا کہ سامنے سے حضرات شیخین رضی اللہ عنہما آتے ہوئے دکھائی دیئے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”علی! یہ دونوں حضرات انبیاء و مرسلین کے علاوہ جنت کے تمام بوڑھوں اور جوانوں کے سردار ہیں۔“
Sayyidina Ali raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein mojood tha ki samne se hazrat shaykhayn raziallahu anhuma aate huye dikhayi diye, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Ali! Ye donon hazrat anbiya o mursaleen ke ilawa jannat ke tamam budhon aur jawanon ke sardar hain.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ يَعْنِي الْيَمَامِيَّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْيَمَامِيِّ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَسَنٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَقْبَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، فَقَالَ:" يَا عَلِيُّ، هَذَانِ سَيِّدَا كُهُولِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَشَبَابِهَا بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ".
