Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6026
It was narrated from Ibn Umar that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: “Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock. The ruler is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. A man is the shepherd of his family and is responsible for his flock. A woman is the shepherd of her husband’s house and is responsible for her flock. A servant is the shepherd of his master’s wealth and is responsible for it. I heard these words from the Prophet (ﷺ). I think that the Prophet (ﷺ) also said: ‘A man is the shepherd of his father’s wealth and is responsible for it.’ All of you are shepherds and all of you will be asked about your flocks.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کو یہ ارشاد فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ تم میں سے ہر ایک نگران ہے اور تم میں سے ہر ایک سے باز پرس ہو گی چنانچہ حکمران اپنی رعایا کے ذمہ دار ہیں اور ان سے ان کی رعایا کے حوالے سے باز پرس ہو گی مرد اپنے اہل خانہ کا ذمہ دار ہے اور اس کے متعلق باز پرس ہو گی عورت اپنے خاوند کے گھر کی ذمہ دار ہے اور اس سے اس کی باز پرس ہو گی غلام اپنے آقا کے مال کا ذمہ دار ہے اور اس سے اس کے متعلق باز پرس ہو گی میں نے یہ باتیں نبی ﷺ سے سنی ہیں اور میرا خیال ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بہ بھی فرمایا: تھا مرد اپنے باپ کے مال کا ذمہ دار ہے اور اس سے اس کی ذمہ داری کے متعلق باز پرس ہو گی، الغرض تم میں سے ہر ایک نگران ہے اور تم میں سے ہر ایک کی باز پرس ہو گی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye irshad farmate huye suna hai ki tum mein se har ek nigran hai aur tum mein se har ek se baaz purs ho gi chunancha hukmaran apni raaya ke zimmedar hain aur un se un ki raaya ke hawale se baaz purs ho gi mard apne ahl khana ka zimmedar hai aur uske mutalliq baaz purs ho gi aurat apne khaawind ke ghar ki zimmedar hai aur us se uski baaz purs ho gi ghulam apne aqa ke maal ka zimmedar hai aur us se uske mutalliq baaz purs ho gi maine ye baatein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se suni hain aur mera khayal hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye bhi farmaya tha mard apne baap ke maal ka zimmedar hai aur us se uski zimmedari ke mutalliq baaz purs ho gi, algharaz tum mein se har ek nigran hai aur tum mein se har ek ki baaz purs ho gi.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ:" كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ، وَمَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ، الْإِمَامُ رَاعٍ، وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ، وَالرَّجُلُ فِي أَهْلِهِ رَاعٍ، وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ، وَالْمَرْأَةُ فِي بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا رَاعِيَةٌ، وَهِيَ مَسْئُولَةٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهَا، وَالْخَادِمُ فِي مَالِ سَيِّدِهِ رَاعٍ، وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ"، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ هَؤُلَاءِ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَحْسَبُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: وَالرَّجُلُ فِي مَالِ أَبِيهِ رَاعٍ، وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ، فَكُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ، وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ.
