Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6025
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying on the pulpit: Kill the snakes, especially the two striped ones and the short-tailed ones, for they cause blindness and miscarriage.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو برسر منبر یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ سانپ کو مار دیا کرو خاص طور پر دو دھاری اور دم کٹے سانپوں کو، کیونکہ یہ دونوں انسان کی بینائی زائل ہونے اور حمل ساقط ہوجانے کا سبب بنتے ہیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko barsar mimbar ye farmate hue suna hai ki saanp ko maar diya karo khaas taur par do dhari aur dum kate saanpon ko, kyunki ye donon insan ki beenayi zail hone aur hamal saqit hojane ka sabab bante hain.
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ , أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا، وَقَالَ سَالِمٌ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِمًا عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ:" اقْتُلُوا الْحَيَّاتِ، وَاقْتُلُوا ذَا الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ وَالْأَبْتَرَ، فَإِنَّهُمَا يَلْتَمِسَانِ الْبَصَرَ، وَيُسْقِطَانِ الْحَبَلَ".
