Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6054
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had the trees of Banu Nadir cut down and burned, and on this occasion, Allah revealed the verse: "And whatever you cut down of palm-trees, or leave them standing on their roots, it is by Allah's command, and that He may disgrace the disobedient."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بنونضیر کے درخت کٹوا کر انہیں آگ لگا دی اور اس موقع پر اللہ نے ہی آیت نازل فرمائی " تم نے کھجور کا جو درخت بھی کاٹایا اپنی جڑوں پر کھڑا رہنے دیا تو وہ اللہ کے حکم سے تھا اور تاکہ اللہ فاسقوں کو رسوا کر دے۔
Saina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Banu Nazeer ke darakht katwa kar unhen aag laga di aur is mauqe par Allah ne hi ayat nazil farmai " Tum ne khajoor ka jo darakht bhi kataya apni jaron par khara rahne diya to wo Allah ke hukm se tha aur taake Allah fasiqon ko ruswa kar de.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" حَرَّقَ نَخْلَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ وَقَطَّعَ" , وَهِيَ الْبُوَيْرَةُ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى مَا قَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ لِينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا قَائِمَةً عَلَى أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَلِيُخْزِيَ الْفَاسِقِينَ سورة الحشر آية 5.
