Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6055
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a slain person in a battle. He expressed his disapproval and forbade the killing of women and children.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے کسی غزوہ میں ایک مقتول کو دیکھا تو اس نے نکیر فرماتے ہوئے عورتوں اور بچوں کو قتل کرنے سے روک دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kisi ghazwa mein ek maqtool ko dekha to usne nakir farmate hue auraton aur bachchon ko qatl karne se rok diya.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ: أَنَّ امْرَأَةً وُجِدَتْ فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَقْتُولَةً،" فَأَنْكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَتْلَ النِسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ".
