Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6082
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that we set out with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with the intention of Hajj. And before the Day of Sacrifice, neither the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) nor Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) made anything permissible for themselves until they had performed Tawaf and Sa'i.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ حج کے ارادے سے نکلے اور یوم النحر سے پہلے نبی ﷺ اور سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنے اوپر کوئی چیز حلال نہیں کی یہاں تک کہ طواف اور سعی کر لی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Hajj ke irade se nikle aur Yaum un nahr se pehle Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne apne upar koi cheez halal nahi ki yahan tak ki tawaaf aur saee kar li.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، وَسُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ , قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا خَرَجْنَا حُجَّاجًا مُهِلِّينَ بِالْحَجِّ،" فَلَمْ يَحِلَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , وَلَا عُمَرُ حَتَّى طَافُوا بِالْبَيْتِ"، قَالَ: قَالَ سُرَيْجٌ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ، وَبِالصَّفَا , وَالْمَرْوَةِ.
