Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6110
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once, before the commencement of revelation in the lowlands of Makkah, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) met Zayd bin Amr bin Nufail. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) spread out a meal before him and placed meat in front of him. He (Zayd) refused to eat it and said, "I do not eat the meat of animals that you people slaughter in the name of your idols. Rather, I only eat those things over which the name of Allah has been taken." Benefit: The phrase "you people" refers to "the people" and does not include the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ مکہ مکرمہ کے نشیبی علاقے میں نزول وحی کا زمانہ شروع ہونے سے قبل نبی ﷺ کی ملاقات زید بن عمرو بن نفیل سے ہوئی نبی ﷺ نے ان کے سامنے دسترخوان بچھا یا اور گوشت لاکر سامنے رکھا انہوں نے اسے کھانے سے انکار کر دیا اور کہنے لگے کہ میں ان جانوروں کا گوشت نہیں کھاتا جنہیں تم لوگ اپنے بتوں کے نام پر قربان کرتے ہو، بلکہ میں صرف وہ چیزیں کھاتاہوں جن پر اللہ کا نام لیا گیا ہو۔ فائدہ۔ " تم لوگ " سے مراد " قوم " سے نبی ﷺ کی ذات مراد نہیں۔
Saina Ibne Umar Radi Allaho Anhuma se marvi hai ki aik martaba Makkah Mukarrama ke nishebi ilaqay mein nuzool e wahi ka zamana shuru hone se qabal Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki mulaqat Zaid bin Amr bin Nufail se hui Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne un ke samne dastarkhwan bichhaya aur gosht lakar samne rakha unhon ne use khane se inkar kar diya aur kehne lage ki main un janwaron ka gosht nahi khata jinhin tum log apne buton ke naam par qurban karte ho, balki main sirf wo cheezain khata hun jin par Allah ka naam liya gaya ho. Fida. "Tum log" se murad "qoum" se hai Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki zaat murad nahi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمٌ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ زَيْدَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ بِأَسْفَلِ بَلْدَحَ، وَذَلِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْوَحْيُ، فَقَدَّمَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُفْرَةً فِيهَا لَحْمٌ، فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْهَا، وَقَالَ: إِنِّي لَا آكُلُ مِمَّا تَذْبَحُونَ عَلَى أَنْصَابِكُمْ، وَلَا آكُلُ إِلَّا مَا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ , وَحَدَّثَ هَذَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
