Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6127
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): Once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) observed Itikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan. A tent of date palm branches was set up for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). One day, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) peeked out from it and said, "Whoever stands up for prayer is in intimate conversation with his Lord, so you should know what you are conversing about with your Lord, and do not raise your voices above one another in prayer."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے ماہ رمضان کے آخری عشرے میں اعتکاف فرمایا: نبی ﷺ کے لئے کھجور کی شاخوں سے ایک خیمہ بنادیا گیا ایک دن نبی ﷺ نے اس میں سے سرنکالا اور ارشاد فرمایا: جو شخص بھی نماز پڑھنے کے لئے کھڑا ہوتا ہے درحقیقت وہ اپنے رب کی مناجات کرتا ہے اس لئے تمہیں معلوم ہونا چاہئے کہ تم اپنے رب سے کیا مناجات کر رہے ہو؟ اور تم نماز میں ایک دوسرے سے اونچی قرأت نہ کیا کرو۔
Saina Ibne Umar Radi Allaho Anhuma se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne mah e Ramzan ke aakhri ashray mein itikaf farmaya: Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke liye khajoor ki shakhon se aik khaima banadiya gaya ek din Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne us mein se sar nikala aur irshad farmaya: jo shakhs bhi namaz parhne ke liye khara hota hai dar haqeeqat wo apne rab ki minajat karta hai isliye tumhen maloom hona chahiye ki tum apne rab se kya minajat kar rahe ho? aur tum namaz mein ek dusre se unchi qirat na kiya karo.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ يُدْعَى: صَدُوعَ، وَفِي نُسْخَةٍ: صَدَقَةَ , عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: اعْتَكَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ، قَالَ: فَبُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ مِنْ سَعَفٍ، قَالَ: فَأَخْرَجَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْهُ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ، فَقَالَ: أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ،" إِنَّ الْمُصَلِّيَ إِذَا صَلَّى , فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى، فَلْيَعْلَمْ بِمَا يُنَاجِيهِ وَلَا يَجْهَرْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ".
