Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6166
Zaid bin Aslam narrates from his father that once he went with Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) to Abdullah bin Mut'i. He welcomed Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) and ordered the people to offer him a pillow. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: I have come to narrate to you a hadith that I heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Whoever withdraws his hand from the rightful ruler of his time, his argument will not be accepted on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever dies leaving the "Jama'ah" (main body of the Muslims) will die the death of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance).

زید بن اسلم اپنے والد سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ عبداللہ بن مطیع کے یہاں گیا، اس نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو خوش آمدید کہا اور لوگوں کو حکم دیا کہ انہیں تکیہ پیش کرو، سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا: کہ میں آپ کو ایک حدیث سنانے آیاہوں جو میں نے نبی ﷺ سے سنی ہے میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص صحیح حکمران وقت سے ہاتھ کھینچتا ہے قیامت کے دن اس کی کوئی حجت قبول نہ ہو گی اور جو شخص " جماعت " کو چھوڑ کر مرگیا تو وہ جاہلیت کی موت مرا۔
Zaid bin Aslam apne walid se naqal karte hain ki ek martaba mein Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke sath Abdullah bin Mutee ke yahan gaya, usne Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ko khush aamadeed kaha aur logon ko hukm diya ki unhen takiya pesh karo, Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya: ki mein aapko ek hadees sunane aaya hun jo mein ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se suni hai mein ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki jo shakhs sahih hakumran waqt se hath khenchta hai qayamat ke din uski koi hujjat qubool na ho gi aur jo shakhs "jamaat" ko chhor kar mar gaya to wo jahiliyat ki maut mara.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ : أَتَى ابْنَ مُطِيعٍ، فَقَالَ: اطْرَحُوا لِأَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وِسَادَةً، فَقَالَ: مَا جِئْتُ لِأَجْلِسَ عِنْدَكَ، وَلَكِنْ جِئْتُ أُخْبِرُكَ مَا سَمِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ:" مَنْ نَزَعَ يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ، أَوْ فَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ، مَاتَ مِيتَةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ".
