Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6215
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A good dream is one of the seventy-six parts of Prophethood. Whoever has a dream that he likes, let him praise Allah for it and tell it. Whoever has a dream that he dislikes, let him seek refuge with Allah from its evil and not tell anyone about it, for it will not harm him."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: اچھا خواب اجزاء نبوت میں سے سترواں جزو ہے اس لئے جو شخص خواب دیکھے اسے اس پر اللہ کا شکر کرنا اور اسے بیان کر دینا چاہئے اور اگر کوئی برا خواب دیکھے تو اللہ سے اس خواب کے شر سے پناہ مانگے اور اسے کسی سے بیان نہ کرے اس طرح وہ خواب اسے کوئی نقصان نہ پہنچا سکے گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Achcha khwab ajza nabuwwat mein se satwan juzu hai is liye jo shakhs khwab dekhe use us par Allah ka shukr karna aur use bayan kar dena chahiye aur agar koi bura khwab dekhe to Allah se us khwab ke shar se panah mange aur use kisi se bayan na kare is tarah woh khwab use koi nuqsan na pahuncha sakega.
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ، فَمَنْ رَأَى خَيْرًا فَلْيَحْمَدْ اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ، وَلْيَذْكُرْهُ، وَمَنْ رَأَى غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ رُؤْيَاهُ، وَلَا يَذْكُرْهَا، فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَضُرُّهُ".
