Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6227
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) set out for Makkah intending to perform Umrah during the days of tribulation. He said: “If I am stopped, I will do what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did." Then he made the intention to perform Umrah, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had also assumed ihram for Umrah in the year of Hudaibiyah.

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما فتنہ کے ایام میں عمرہ کی نیت سے مکہ مکرمہ روانہ ہو گئے اور فرمایا: اگر میرے سامنے بھی کوئی رکاوٹ پیش آگئی تو میں وہی کروں گا جو نبی ﷺ نے کیا تھا پھر انہوں نے عمرہ کی نیت کر لی کیونکہ نبی ﷺ نے بھی حدیبیہ کے سال عمرے کا احرام باندھا تھا۔
Nafey rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma fitna ke ayyam mein Umrah ki niyyat se Makkah Mukarramah rawana ho gaye aur farmaya: Agar mere samne bhi koi rukawat pesh a gayi to main wohi karunga jo Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kiya tha phir unhon ne Umrah ki niyyat kar li kyunki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bhi Hudaibiya ke saal Umrah ka ahram bandha tha.
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ خَرَجَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ مُعْتَمِرًا فِي الْفِتْنَةِ، فَقَالَ: إِنْ صُدِدْتُ عَنِ الْبَيْتِ، صَنَعْنَا كَمَا صَنَعْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ، مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ," أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ".
