Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6244
It was narrated from Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “If a Muhrim cannot find shoes, then he may wear socks, but he should cut them below the ankles.”
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اگر محرم کو جوتے نہ ملیں تو وہ موزے ہی پہن لے لیکن ٹخنوں سے نیچے کا حصہ کاٹ لے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Agar muharram ko joote na milen to wo moze hi pehen le lekin takhnon se neeche ka hissa kaat le."
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ، فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ، وَلْيَشُقَّهُمَا، أَوْ لِيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ".
